Job Description

Our client is seeking a high-caliber candidate for administrative support in the Settlement Division.

Responsibilities:
Daily Settlement Operations: Support cash transfers, fixed income, foreign exchange, interest rate swaps, futures, and options.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and external parties (e.g., counterparties, custodians, and Nostro banks) to ensure smooth settlement processes.
Trade Processing: Perform functions such as corporate actions, trade confirmation matching, reconciliation, and static data maintenance.
System Improvement Initiatives: Participate in User Acceptance Testing and production rollouts to support system and process enhancements.
Reporting: Assist in the preparation of Management Information System reports and monthly statistical reports.
Business Continuity Planning: Engage in regular Business Continuity Planning drills.
Administrative Tasks: Carry out other back-office operational and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007), at Level 2/Grade E or above in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or at Level 2 or equivalent in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination.
Experience: 1 year of work experience or above, in settlement/back office operations or correspondent banking services across a range of financial products and markets is an advantage.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of settlement practices and SWIFT message standards.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with settlement and operating systems such as SWIFT, RTGS, RIS, EasyWay, confirmation matching systems, and reconciliation systems; proficiency in MS Excel is advantageous.
Language Skills: Good command of written and spoken English.
Personal Attributes: Strong team player, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure to meet various settlement deadlines.
Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular hours as needed.
