Job Description
Our client, a German MNC specializing in metal, electronics, and mechanical locks, is looking for a high-caliber Product Engineer (Manager) to strengthen their development department. Candidates without direct experience are encouraged to apply, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Position Overview
Ensure alignment with head office requirements and corporate strategies.
Lead product development initiatives from concept to launch.
Collaborate with Chinese manufacturing teams to ensure alignment with the professional guidelines of the German product management team.
Assist business development for the Asian market.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends.
Develop product strategies and roadmaps in accordance with head office guidelines.
Manage the product lifecycle, including planning, development, and evaluation.
Coordinate with engineering, design, and marketing teams for product development.
Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
Evaluate and analyze product performance using metrics and feedback.
Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
Prepare and present product proposals to the head office.
Qualifications
Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business or related field.
2+ years of experience in related disciplines in product development or management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Good command of written and spoken English, as well as Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese).
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Having knowledge of mold making is advantageous.
